Q: Describe your #1 Reason for wanting a Boudoir Experience:
A: I wanted to try something out of my comfort zone. My daughter had been telling me I needed to do it at least once for myself.
Q: Was the session different from what you expected it to be?
A: I expected to be awkward and uncomfortable in my own skin but Shelly made me feel super comfortable! I ended up having a really fun and empowering session! I left feeling like at 53 I am in my prime lol!
Q: Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty / sexuality / sensuality / body confidence as a result of this session?
A: I have never seen myself as beautiful – could point out 20 flaws easily lol. But this session showed me that I am beautiful and really gave me confidence in my body and myself that I don’t know that I’ve ever had.
Q: Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Petals & Lace Boudoir?
A: It’s such a great way to see how beautiful you are just the way you are!!! You will walk away with so much confidence and self love!!! Shelly really brings out the best in you and that’s something everyone should experience at least once in their life!
Q: What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
A: You can totally do a session!! Shelly will have you feeling comfortable in no time!! Seeing yourself after hair and makeup is such a confidence booster to go into your session! You can also bring your personality into the session – a cardigan and a book can be just as sexy and empowering as sexy lingerie!
Q: Anything else you would like to share?
A: My only regret with my session is that I didn’t do it sooner!! At my reveal I expected to see just a few pictures I really liked – I rarely have pictures of me that I like. I loved every single one of them!!! I couldn’t believe that was me at first! They were all gorgeous! Having to pick was hard! Any time I need a boost in confidence I can open my album and just go THAT is who you are!! Thanks to Shelly for making me love me!!
